When is the Short Play Festival?
The festival will be April 9 – 11, 2021.
How can I see the Short Play Festival?
All short plays will be pre-recorded and available on demand for 72 hours from April 9 to 11, 2021 through a virtual platform. Your ticket will not have an assigned date/time during our festival. You can watch plays anytime between Friday to Sunday. It is up to you.
How long is the performance?
Each short play will be approximately 10 -24 minutes long. There are 6 short plays in total.
Will the play be voice interpreted?
The recorded plays will not be voice interpreted. The recordings will be captioned in English. A descriptive transcript for each play will be available.
What if I have an access request?
Please send in your access requests to access@deafspotlight.org by Friday, March 26, 2021.
Is the Festival children-friendly?
The Short Plays have mature content and are not suitable for youths.
How much is a ticket?
Early Bird (February 15 - March 14, 2021): $15
Regular Ticket (March 15 - April 11, 2021): $25
All proceeds will go back to the festival’s overhead expenses and participating artists.
